Stop what you’re doing and listen! 02/04/2010

Posted by nicklee24 in Life.

I’d like to start out by saying thanks to whomever keeps on reading my blog. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that others enjoy the ideas and thoughts that cross into my mind. 🙂

We’re all fools. Strong statement, but oh so very true.

We all care too strongly about living our lives, when we don’t take the time to stop what we’re doing and listen to what our heavenly Father says to us. Like how we learned to stop, drop, and roll in school to extinguish fires on our bodies, lets stop, listen, and bask in the Father’s presence and listen to what He’s trying to tell us.

We’re not all perfect beings. We all make mistakes, but the amazing thing is that He still loves us regardless of all the wrong doings we have committed in the past. There are no excuses for us to believe that God does not love and care for us. Instead, a simple talk with our Father can help us surpass all these obstacles that are set before us. So love the Lord your God! He sent his one and only beloved son to eliminate any sins that are on our plate, and all He asks for us in return is total complete trust in Him, and to love him with our hearts, minds, and souls.

In Exodus 14:14, it says, “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” LIFE IS SO SIMPLE! That’s the most simplest way for us to categorize and describe our lives. We just sit still and love Him, He’ll do the rest… guaranteed. He loves us so much, we don’t have to worry about our worldly struggles. Just confide in Him, and He’ll lead you to do such amazing things in your life.

Yesterday while praying, I got John 14 for a brother of mine. John 14 says:

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Trust Him. He’ll be leading you to greater things than you can have imagined. We all have a room reserved for us in God’s house. It’s about time we recognized that fact and took our place in our Father’s house.

Concluding, I would like to reiterate what I said before… Stop what you’re doing and listen! You never know what great things you can accomplish, through the love and guidance of the Lord.
